Meet the Therapists
Meet our Trauma-Informed Clinical Team, who are serving our community on behalf of the Black Women's Therapy Fund.
'The Black Women's Therapy Fund' is a service which offers black women and non-binary people the opportunity to access 12 x sessions with our accredited black and brown mental health practitioners for free. There is also a low-cost option dependent on what is affordable for both the client and practitioner.
This is on hold as we seek more funding. So far we have supported 34 people through this service across 18 months.

Gloria Boadi
Psychotherapist
I offer a safe, nonjudgmental and supportive space to individuals and couples. I work with adults, children and adolescents. I work to the needs of the individual and offer weekly, fortnightly, monthly and ad hoc supportive telephone work.
I was trained in a psychodynamic orientation, thus looking at how past events can influence our current situation and how we adopt destructive patterns of behaviour. I aim to help the individual discover these patterns and find alternative ways to reach their desire. I believe that different approaches are needed for varying situations and thus work using various methods to suit the individual presenting issue. I also look at dreams as a source to the unconscious. My approach is very much client-led and it is a joint venture with me as a guide.
I have extensive experience working with complex cases such as:
Identity, Internal Racism, Life Transitions, Personality disorders, Depression, Anger issues, ADHD, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Addictions, Relationship conflict
Registered Bodies: NCS, BACP & BPS

Psychological Therapist
I am a Qualified Psychological Therapist for individuals who are ready to redefine their lives and live meaningfully.
I use a culturally sensitive approach to work with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, social anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions, hardships and trauma.
My focus is on supporting people to overcome their psychological barriers by exploring the underlying factors that are hindering their peace and by implementing practical strategies and techniques to enhance their quality of life. I help people to holistically strengthen their relationship with themselves and break the cycle of unhelpful patterns of behaviour.
I believe that people should not be defined by the problems they have experienced and having a better understanding of themselves is the key to unlock new beginnings in life.
